These Terms of Service govern your use of Shok (the "App") and the website at getshokapp.com (the "Site"). By downloading, installing, or using Shok, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.
Shok Pro is sold as a one-time purchase. Buying a license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Pro features of the App on your personal devices. This is a license to use the software — not a transfer of ownership.
Your license key activates Pro features including Steam Integration, System Monitor, Custom Themes, and Cover Art. Free features are available without a purchase.
You may use Shok for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
Because Shok Pro is a digital product that is activated immediately upon purchase, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents the App from functioning, contact us at isaiahturner098@gmail.com and we will work to resolve it.
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates are not guaranteed, and we reserve the right to change, discontinue, or modify features at any time without notice. Your one-time purchase does not entitle you to updates indefinitely, though we intend to provide them while the App is actively maintained.
Shok is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every system configuration. Use it at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or Site — including but not limited to data loss, system damage, or loss of profits — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.
Shok integrates with third-party services including Steam and the Steam Web API. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction where we are based.
